Introduction to the KC Good Citizen Awards

The Good Citizen Scheme consist of four awards BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD and the Puppy Foundation Assessment.

Each level involves a gradual development in our understanding of dogs.

The aim of the scheme, which is non-competitive, is to promote responsible dog ownership and in turn, enhance our relationship with our pets and to make the community aware of the benefits associated with dog ownership

RDTC KC Training

The Club runs regular KC Good Citizen Bronze, Silver and Gold training courses.

3 Bronze courses; 2 Silver courses and 1 Gold course.

Currently we do not offer the Puppy Foundation Assessment.

These courses last for 8 weeks and during the year

They are held at the Barn on Monday Evenings.

Dogs must have passed the Bronze award before attempting the Silver, and can only take the Gold after they have achieved the Silver.

To book a course or for any other query contact the Good Citizen co-ordinator - Beryl Draper on 01788 542869.
