The club was formed in 1962 as a training club for pet dogs and their owners and we are one of the longest established and successful dog training clubs in the UK.

The club is a non-profit organisation run by enthusiasts on a voluntary basis, no Committee Member, Trainer or Officials of the club is paid. We are very grateful to all our volunteers, and if you would like to help, please speak to one of our trainers to find out how.

Rugby DTC aims to benefit its members in the basic handling and understanding of their dogs, and to promote the responsible training of dogs using science-backed, positive training methods.
